Up for sale is an outstanding original oil painting depicting a Mediterranean Villa overlooking the ocean signed in the lower right corner "Camprio" This oil painting on canvas is not a new reproduction or giclee but an original mid 20th century composition from this listed artist. The age can very much be seen in the even and natural craquelure that is present as well as the toning color and paint seepage seen on the back side of the canvas. Their is some minor discoloration to the composition and would benefit from a cleaning. Painted with a heavy impasto style this painting has been expertly executed and contains pink and reds to nicely contrast the overall heavy blue sea and sky.
