Up for sale is an excellent original impressionist oil painting on canvas depicting a fine open field landscape showing a group of cattle. I particularly enjoy that each cow is looking directly at the viewer instead of just being part of the scene they help to pull in a viewer. Signed in the lower left corner “W. Hunt” this work is executed in oil on canvas is an absolutely lovely work. Resting in a two tone gold and black frame measuring 16 3/8 x 24 3/8 inches the canvas measures 14 x 22 inches and is in exceptional condition. The only imperfection is some discoloration of the varnish mostly seen in the sky slightly muting the blue.
