Up for sale is an outstanding antique oil painting on canvas depicting a house with many pieces of timber stacked around the outside perimeter. This painting is executed in oil on a very thick wove canvas almost similar to burlap. The variety of colors used in this scene is wonderful with many bright eye attracting blue, greens and a little red. This painting is singed in the lower right and on the reverse but unfortunately I am unable to determine the artist. The name appears to be "H. E. Gramel" as seen on the reverse and "Lautermuhle" is also written which I believe is still a flooring and wood company still operating in Germany.

This beautiful oil painting measures approximately 23.75 x 19.75 and is in excellent condition! The quality of the painting is very good with a slight impressionists feel having thick visible brushstrokes seen in the lower half of the composition.
