Up for sale is a beautiful early 20th century oil painting depicting a rough but aesthetically attractive mother holding her little baby. Illegibly signed in the upper left corner this painting appears to be from a Danish or Scandinavian artist. The quality is outstanding and unique style is visually striking making any eye that passes give it a few seconds to better examine. Painted with mostly soft blues gives this oil painting on canvas a cold feeling which strikes major contrast with the subject matter of a young loving "warm" mother. Free from any warm tones also can portray some somber emotions as though something terrible could have just happened.

The signature is located in the top left portion of this canvas as seen in the 5th image provided and has put into the paint by the artist with the back end of a brush. Their also appears to be some additional lettering placed in the lower left portion as seen in the 8th image but this is even more difficult to try and make out. Resting in its original vintage wood frame it measures 30.25 x 26.25 while the canvas measures 23.75 x 20 inches. The frame shows its age with knicks and cosmetic blemishes but it has fortunately taken all the beating because the canvas is just wonderful. Free from any rips, tears, punctures or repairs, it is ready to be hung and enjoyed. Additional writing is on the backside of the canvas.
