Up for sale is a beautiful original pencil and watercolor sketch of "Tobias and the Angles" after the original drawings by Annibale Carracci from the late 16th century. This original antique composition is executed on "J WHATMAN 1828" water mark paper indicating it was painted in the early to mid 1800's. Measuring a total of 14.25 x 10.25 inches in excellent condition this is near 200 years old and has been well cared for and preserved during its life.

On the reverse written in pencil across the center reads "Tobias and the Angels, copy of a picture from Annibale Carracci. This is a highly skilled work of art from an early 19th century unknown admirer of Carracci in excellent condition other than some wear to the corners and old tape residue along the back top. Their is a work written in ink along the top back as seen in the 11th photo but is illegible.
