Up for sale is an outstanding original painting by the listed Indian artist "GoPal" as seen signed in the lower right corner. This work of art came out of a large and impressive collection of artwork from Nepal and India containing many listed artists all of which the previous owner had professionally framed. This original composition depicts a group of 50 women finely dressed in a variety of bright colors in front of a castle like building following men on elephants and horseback celebrating or participating in a type of special ceremony. Surrounded by a watery moat filled with colored fish their is a small boat with 4 men rowing in the lower right corner. Executed on linen with in type of heavy watercolor the attention to detail especially seen in the faces and dress of the women will make any one who pass stop and inspect it closer.

Displayed in an excellent multi-tone wood frame with linen covered double matting. The frame measures in total 27.75 x 22 inches while the painting measures 19 x 13 inches.
