Up for sale is a fantastic mid century oil painting on canvas depicting three figures pulling nets over the side of a small sail boat. With two men pulling nets its interesting to see the artist place a beautiful woman sitting to the left viewing these two at work. Signed in the lower left corner "Manuchehr" and dated 1967 I am unable to determine what the additional writing means, it may be the location where this scene was taken from. This is a large and impressive work of art resting in its original wood frame which measures 43 x 34.5 inches while the canvas measures 39 x 31 inches. Well executed with thick brushstrokes and a palette knife this work has stunning texture and variety of bright colors. The condition overall is very good but this work does have craquelure and some areas of minor loss.
