Up for sale is an outstanding and well executed antique Dutch landscape depicting a large multi level house with a windmill on top with a horse drawn carriage in front. This painting is unfortunately illegibly signed in the lower right corner and appears to have been painted in the late 19th century in a slight impressionist style which I do not normally see in Dutch landscapes of this period. The quality and level of execution is outstanding with a level of sophistication of brushstrokes making the painting strikingly appealing to the eye. The use of color is also nice along with perception seen in the windmill in the far distance.

This original watercolor is resting in what appears to be its original wood frame which fits it perfectly. This wood frame measures approximately 21.75 x 27.75 inches and is flaking its green paint giving it an appealing stressed look that most people are replicating today while the watercolor measures 10 x 13.5 inches. The original matting and backing are recommended to be changed but other than that the painting is an absolute gem and of quality rarely seen in similar period depictions. The condition of the watercolor is perfect void of any foxing, knicks, chips, loss etc...
