Up for sale is an exceptional vintage painting by the talented Gary Lawrence Niblett depicting a bull elk bugling within a winter landscape. Standing on the bank of a small river this snow laden scene shows birch trees and a rising mountain behind. Executed in oil on canvas this unframed painting measures 18 x 24 inches and is signed low left “G. Niblett”. Showing tremendous brushwork, color, detail and overall composition makes this a fine example by the renowned western painter. The condition of this work is fine showing some minimal surface blemished / discolored varnish.
