Up for sale is one of two matching oil paintings currently available by the talented Jewish, Iranian artist Yasharel Manzy. Celebrated for his stunning self taught style with excellent use of color and brushwork his depictions of Italian and Southern France landscapes are some of his most desirable works. This painting shows a fabulous Italian landscape and is executed in oil on paper measuring with its full margins measuring 19 x 19 inches while the painting measures 15 x 15 inches and is signed in the low right corner “Yasharel” in red paint. Please take a moment to view the images closely to see the intricate, quick and bold brush work, texture and blending of colors. The condition is excellent with some minimal foxing present to the margins and some discoloration present verso. Yasharel’s works are rather rare and hard to come by so I feel particularly grateful to have the opportunity to offer two matching painting by this extremely talented artist.
