Up for sale is a gorgeous original mixed media painting by the 20th century pop artist Peter Max entitled “Flag with Heart”. This work is executed in acrylic paint applied to a lithographic print showing an American flag at the center of the work decorated with hand painted additions. This work rests in its original gold wood frame measuring 24 x 26 inches while the work of art measures 12 x 14 inches. Please do not get this confused with the lesser 8 x 10 inch example or the lithograph from the edition of 500, these are both inferior to this larger painting. The condition of the work is good in original condition from the gallery and shows a nice amount of hand applied acrylic which I tried showing in the photos up close. The frame and acrylic may show some scuffs and or minor scratches/abrasions.
