Up for sale is a wonderfully beautiful and rare painting by the talented female British painter Helen Mary Jacobs (1888-1970). Known for her illustrations of fairies and children this serves as a tremendous example executed in watercolor on paper mounted to heavier board measuring 15.75 x 11.75 inches while the painting measures 15 x 11 inches. This sweet image shows two young children blowing soap bubbles with their dollies. Painted with loving delicate brushwork and bright color this painting serves as a fine example likely published in "Bubbles" magazines which she frequently illustrated. Condition is overall lovely showing minimal toning and matt burn and small chip center right.
