Known for her illustrations of fairies and children this serves as a tremendous example executed in watercolor on paper mounted to heavier board measuring 15.75 x 12.5 inches while the painting measures 15 x 11 inches. This sweet image shows three young children looking up with joy towards a balloon vendor as he hands a soft pink balloon over. Signed "Helen Jacobs" low right, the painting also bears the address verso. Painted with loving delicate brushwork and bright color this painting serves as a fine example likely published in one of her many magazines she illustrated for.
