This phenomenal original watercolor by Francis Russell Flint depicts the beautiful region of Ardeche in the South of France known for its forests and waterways. The son of the most famous early 20th century Scottish painter, Sir William Russell Flint, Francis's style and medium is spot on to his fathers. This work is executed on fine watercolor paper and rests in its original wood gallery frame and matting. Measuring in total 30.75 x 25.5 inches the watercolor itself measures 23 x 15.5 inches and is in good overall condition other than the minor matt burn present. Signed in the lower left corner "F. Russell Flint" this painting is a fine example from such a talented artist.
