Up for sale is a wonderfully rare Luther Gerlach original kallitype photograph which is hand-signed and numbered in the lower right corner. Printed on a quality piece of deckle edge Somerset paper this print measures 22 1/4 x 30 inches. This form of iron salt photography was first invented in 1899 and was not used for that long thereafter. The condition of the print is great and even the original gallery tag accompanies the work. The print comes unframed and will be rolled when shipped. The images provided accurately represent the quality, condition and aesthetic beauty of this Gerlach photograph but if you have any questions please feel free to ask prior to purchasing! This work will be shipped in the frame with the glass removed, no glass is included with the sale.
