Now available is one of William Zorach’s most cute and desirable bronze creations the “Sleeping Cat” cast in bronze atop a black Belgian marble base. The base measures 7 1/2 x 6 inches while the entire work measures 2 1/2 inches tall. Signed “Zorach” on the backside of the bronze cat this work dates to the mid 20th century. In overall good condition the bronze shows an uneven finish / minimal loss of gilt and one tiny chip to an underside corner.
