Up for sale is an exceptional original watercolor and gouache illustration painting by the talented and accomplished American illustrator Jack A. Warren. This work is executed in primarily watercolor and gouache and depicts two polo players on horseback both hotly pursuing to strike the ball. The painting has a great sense of motion as we see both players arms swinging their polo stick at different positions as the ball jets forward bouncing to the left. Signed in the low right corner this painting is an excellent and rare example of the illustrators rarely seen originals. Resting in a fine mid century wood frame measuring 19 5/8 x 24 3/4 inches the painting measures 11 3/4 x 16 inches and is in excellent condition.
