Karl Heinisch was German born painter who studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He had an incredible track record at the annual art exhibition being their almost every year from 1879 to 1913. Karl made a significant name for himself in the art world in the 20th century and his pieces are dearly sought after.

This is a beautiful wood inlay in a gorgeous dark wood frame. This inlay consists of 5 or more different types of wood making a quaint scene of a church in the Alps. While this is a small piece it is masterfully crafted and in near mint condition. The inlay itself is perfect while their are yet small imperfections on the frame. The artist stamp is on the reverse stating is was made in West Germany.
